It is said that cats are capable of remembering the names of their cohabiting family members and even associating those names with their faces. They would play the names of either cohabiting cats or human family members for the cats. Then, they'd show a face photo matching the name alongside a completely different photo on a screen. For example, they'd say 'Hyumo-nim' and then show the cat a photo of Hyumo-nim's face and a photo of someone else's face. Then the cat would think, 'This picture is Hyumo-nim. What?'
