But if it wakes up precisely on time in the morning, does some stretching, and you witness this, you can at least say it's truly being cat-like. There are a few behaviors cats choose when their owner doesn't wake up. They come up next to you, making a purring sound. If a subtle approach doesn't work, they'll literally shove their nose into your ear. They keep blowing air from their nose. Or they'll approach and meow. And then there's the strategy of pressing down on you with their entire body weight.
