At Cyber Summit Korea 2024, ESTsoft and its cybersecurity subsidiary ESTsecurity showcased their latest innovations in AI-driven security solutions, addressing some of the most pressing concerns in today’s digital landscape—specifically, deepfake misuse and large language model (LLM) security threats.

The summit, co-hosted by the National Intelligence Service and the National Security Research Institute, focused on global cybersecurity challenges emerging in the age of AI, quantum computing, and space technology. Under the theme of "AI, Quantum, and Space: Proactive Efforts for Global Cybersecurity," the event highlighted the growing threats posed by cutting-edge technologies and the need for international cooperation to tackle them.

Key Highlights of the Event:

At the summit, ESTsoft set up an interactive booth where cybersecurity experts, academics, industry professionals, and attendees could explore its AI-powered services and security technologies. The primary focus was on demonstrating the company's AI Human Kiosks and their potential for addressing deepfake misuse and LLM security.

AI Human Kiosks: Three kiosks equipped with AI Humans were unveiled to showcase how ESTsoft is tackling deepfake threats.

AI Ethics and Deepfake Detection: ESTsoft also introduced key strategies to combat deepfake abuse. These included the development of AI ethics guidelines, deployment of deepfake detection programs, and the implementation of an AI Human video history tracking system.

A major highlight of the summit came when President Yoon Suk-yeol visited the booth on the second day. President Yoon personally tested the AI Human Kiosk, asking a series of questions about the latest cybersecurity threats. When asked about privacy concerns, the AI Human emphasized the growing risks related to the increased usage of LLMs and the importance of deploying LLM security solutions to prevent data leaks and detect harmful content. This live demonstration illustrated the practical applications of the AI Human system in addressing real-world cybersecurity issues.

CEO Jung Sang-won expressed his company’s dedication: “We feel a great sense of responsibility in participating in discussions about global cybersecurity. As a leading AI company, ESTsoft is proud to present proactive security solutions in the generative AI field, and we will continue to contribute to global cybersecurity cooperation efforts.”

Together, ESTsoft and ESTsecurity demonstrated their unified approach to addressing modern cybersecurity challenges, combining advanced AI capabilities with robust security protocols. Their solutions are paving the way for more secure, AI-enhanced digital environments across both national and global landscapes.
