At some point between inventing farming and figuring out how to ruin the planet, humanity fought a war so strange, so devastating, and so weirdly specific that almost nobody remembers it, and- and by nobody, I mean all of recorded history, because this was pre-history. No kings, no empires, just tribes, dirt, and a surprisingly high death toll if you happened to be born male. Archeologists kept finding the same eerie pattern, ancient mass graves where nearly everyone buried was an adult man. Blades, spears, and crushed skulls. No signs of disease, no big climate event, just a lot of dudes violently unalive.
